It's not very often that we have a pair of sisters deliver a large impact together at the varsity level in two major sports. On this week's episode Ana and Aubrey Hernandez discuss their relationship as sisters and what it's like to have a built-in best friend in high school sports.

We played a blind game of "Who's More" and "Rapid Fire," as well as diving into pre-game routines and most importantly, the Cavegirls' practice of faith before their games.  The Cavegirls are back-to-back state champions looking to defend their throne this year. Rene Verdusco started West Texas Gloveman (WTGM) as a hobby, for fun. His company has grown to the point of being trusted by top athletes and even representing New Mexico in the Slowpitch Softball Challenge Cup. Now Rene plans to work in a new brand identity so that it can reach an even larger audience across the southwest!

This podcast had a strong focus on what is possible within the customized glove industry and how to treat your gloves right. Truth be told, we had to record this podcast twice because I forgot to record the first time. It just goes to show the kind of guy Rene is and why it's so easy to root for a guy that's looking to break even further into the sports gear industry.

Cavegirls’ Home Run Leader & Galveston College Commit Jessica Munro

Jessica Munro worked hard in the offseason to strengthen her body and her game. Now she leads the #1 seeded Cavegirls as they head to Albuquerque to compete for a state title. It's no wonder she is going to be playing softball at the next level!

Munro was also a large part of the first ever Cavegirls Soccer state championship team. She was a skilled midfielder as the Cavegirls made back-to-back championship appearances.
